Materna Information & Communications SE is relocating within Cologne from the Rodenkirchen district directly to the heart of the cathedral city. The leading IT company has rented around 690 m² of modern office space in the trophy property "Coeur Cologne" at Breslauer Platz 2-4. The space was brokered exclusively by the Cologne office leasing team of Angermann NRW GmbH.
By choosing "Coeur Cologne", Materna is specifically strengthening its attractiveness as an employer and customer loyalty. "Our new location in an outstanding location in Cologne enables us to consistently implement new work concepts and at the same time offers the necessary flexibility to adapt our working environments to the constantly growing business model," explains Dr. Jan Bünnemeyer, SVP Legal, Risk, Compliance & Enterprise Services at Materna. "We would like to thank the consultants at Angermann, who were able to find us the space in this competitive market environment."
Built in 2017, the "Coeur Cologne" office building combines everything that modern companies are looking for today: First-class architecture with a view of the cathedral, flexible room concepts, an in-house restaurant and an exclusive conference zone ("Business Lounge") for communal use. Tenants also have access to a spacious sky garden.
"The deal is of particular strategic importance to us, not least because Materna has already rented space in Frankfurt and Hamburg through its colleagues," emphasizes Alexander Wunderle, Managing Director of Angermann NRW GmbH. "This illustrates the advantages of our nationwide integration into the Angermann Group and confirms our position in Cologne's city center."
The rental space was provided by the owner HRS and advised by Ragge Hausverwaltung. The lease was signed in May 2025. In addition to the central location, the swift and structured communication between the parties was a decisive factor in the decision in favor of the space.
